Java Software Developer - Mission Support Systems / Defence IT

• Übernahme von Software-Engineering-Aufgaben über den gesamten Entwicklungszyklus
• Software-Design auf Basis definierter Anforderungen sowie Implementierung, Unit- und Integrationstests
• Verantwortung für Software- und Schnittstellendesign unter Berücksichtigung von Machbarkeit, Wiederverwendbarkeit, Wartbarkeit, Sicherheit, technischer Leistung und IT-Security
• Sicherstellung der Einhaltung relevanter Software- und Luftfahrtentwicklungsstandards
• Mitarbeit an der agilen Transformation, Identifikation und Umsetzung von Verbesserungen sowie Erhöhung des Automatisierungsgrades
• Enge Zusammenarbeit und Kommunikation mit Projektteam und Stakeholdern

2. Abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik oder einer vergleichbaren Fachrichtung (mind. Master/Diplom)
3. Berufserfahrung:
4. Mindestens 5 Jahre praktische Erfahrung in der objektorientierten Softwareentwicklung (Java)
5. Erfahrung in der Luft- und Raumfahrt- oder Verteidigungsindustrie von Vorteil
6. Idealerweise Kenntnisse mit MIDS (Multifunctional Information Distribution System) sowie Bedrohungs- und Sensoranalysen
7. IT-/Fachkenntnisse:
8. Sehr gute Kenntnisse im Java-Ökosystem und dessen aktuellen Technologien
9. Fundierte Erfahrung in UML, OO-Design und Design-Patterns
10. Sicherer Umgang mit Source Code Management Systemen
11. Kenntnisse in GIS-Systemen oder militärischen IT-Lösungen von Vorteil

For an assignment in software development, we are looking for you as Java Software Developer (f/m/d) - Mission Support Systems / Defence IT. In this role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of Mission Support Systems (MSS) for Tornado, Eurofighter and future aircraft. These systems support mission preparation, route and mission planning, and post-flight analysis, ensuring safe and effective aircraft operations.
