The AI Platform Product Owner- AI & Data plays a key role in defining and driving vision for our internal AI Platform. This role ensures that product features are prioritized, roadmap is aligned with strategical initiatives, timelines are met, and execution aligns with business priorities. Working closely with AI engineers, Data scientists, engineers, project managers, and business stakeholders, the AI Platform Product Owner brings structure, visibility, and coordination to cross-functional efforts., Lead the end-to-end AI Platform lifecycle from ideation to delivery by continuous improvements of capabilities.
Manage roadmap & backlog: translate / consolidate business needs into clear product requirements. Identify trends, user needs, feedback and consolidate into product improvements.
Define and prioritize features based on business value and technical feasibility. Create detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams
Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and direction to the project team, helping them make informed decisions to ensure technical feasibility
Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate collaboration across the Ai and Data teams, engineering, tech and business teams. Ensure roles and responsibilities are clear, meetings are effective, and communication is streamlined.
Promote AI adaption by sharing, publishing, aligning on Platform features, vision and roadmap
Tracking & Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure Platform success. Monitor and report Platform performance metrics to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in AI product ownership or technical product management, preferably in tech, data, or AI environments
- Strong background in AI/ML and Data with proven technical knowledge of AI/ML & Data lifecycle and an ability to learn new technical domains (a technical background is a huge plus)
- Deep understanding of user needs and market trends. Ability to translate user feedbacks into actionable product improvements.
- Experience managing complex multi-country projects with proven ability to manage timelines, stakeholders, and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a structured approach to planning and execution.
- Clear and effective communicator, able to coordinate across both technical and non-technical stakeholders and with ability to lead and drive multi-cultural teams
- Proactive, hands-on mindset with the ability to work independently and manage ambiguity
