Job description

We are looking for a Senior Application DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Team and enhance application delivery through the design and development of automated deployment and integration scripts. In this role, you will contribute to building and maintaining standardized CI/CD pipelines and scalable release processes using tools such as GitLab, Ansible, and ArgoCD. Working closely with development teams, you will drive automation initiatives, improve deployment efficiency, and ensure consistent adherence to DevOps best practices across the applications landscape. What You Will Do

  • Design and deliver reusable automation blueprints and solutions using Ansible, providing consulting expertise to help application teams adapt and integrate them based on their specific technical contexts.
  • Explain high-level deployment architectures, recommend adjustments aligned with each team's environment, and guide their adoption as standardized automation approaches.
  • Support development teams in integrating deployment pipelines and observability configurations.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and ArgoCD.
  • Drive standardization, security, and scalability in build and deployment workflows.
  • Propose and implement improvements in monitoring, alerting, and release automation.
  • Document processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the DevOps ecosystem, stay current with DevOps tooling trends, and promote best practices within the organization.

Requirements

  • Strong DevOps mindset with experience across the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Solid knowledge of GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, ArgoCD and infrastructure-as-code principles.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications in production environments.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts, summarizing and presenting solutions in a way that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana, ELK, Prometheus.
  • Proactive, communicative team player with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written), with ability to work in an international environment.
