You'll have the opportunity to:
- Collaborate across engineering teams to improve developer experience and streamline processes.
- Build, manage, and optimise CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
- Design, provision, and maintain resilient, highly available, and secure infrastructure in AWS.
- Own environments from development through to production, ensuring operational reliability and security compliance.
- Monitor system performance, anticipate operational issues, and recommend effective, long-term solutions.
- Manage system lifecycle including change and configuration management, troubleshooting incidents, and supporting production deployments.
- Drive continuous improvement of infrastructure to optimise performance, security, and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience building scalable, highly available infrastructure on AWS.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, Helm, and containerisation practices.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
- Scripting skills in Python or Bash.
- Experience with microservice architectures and agile software delivery.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Knowledge of Linux systems and monitoring/observability practices.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, working collaboratively across engineering and product teams.
Bonus:
- Experience with Service Mesh architectures.
Benefits & conditions
- Competitive salary and performance-based bonus.
- 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with an extra day for your birthday.
- Private medical insurance, learning and development opportunities, and mental health support.
- Flexible hybrid working arrangements from London offices and home.
- A culture of honest feedback, continuous improvement, and personal growth.
- A fun, collaborative work environment with social events, fully stocked kitchen, and team activities.
