Job description

Security Design Engineers manage end-to-end solution design, delivering design documents aligned with business requirements, standards, and architecture principles. They create high-level designs, document key decisions, technical risks, and design deviations, and ensure solutions follow transparent decision-making processes.

They collaborate with stakeholders and architects to ensure design decisions align with strategic direction and present solutions to senior leadership and design authorities. They also provide technical thought leadership and act as subject matter experts across projects., * Produce, manage, and maintain end-to-end solution designs in line with architecture and business requirements.

  • Document and communicate key design decisions, deviations, and technical risks.
  • Ensure solution designs are efficient, timely, and cost-effective.
  • Follow governance processes for architecture reviews and approvals.
  • Manage and escalate technical and project risks, mapping design decisions to impacts.
  • Provide technical leadership and act as a cybersecurity SME across projects, including SSH Key Management.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in cybersecurity domains including identity & access, cryptography, PKI, privileged access management, authentication protocols, and federated identity management.
  • Broad IT knowledge with the ability to communicate effectively with non-security technical teams.
  • Experience in large-scale IT transformation programs.
  • Bachelor's or Master's in cybersecurity, computer science, software engineering, or related field.
  • CISSP, CISM, or other recognized cybersecurity certification.
  • Experience with high-level design tools (BizzDesign, Archi, UML) and project management/documentation tools (Jira, Confluence).
