Job description

Job Title: Frontend Developer Rate: £400 (Inside IR35) Duration: 12 Months Clearance: BPSS Location: 3 Days onsite in either (Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Blackpool, Glasgow or Cardiff)

Responsibilities:

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Collaborate with Back End developers, product owners, and architects to deliver integrated solutions.
Ensure code quality, security, and performance through best practices and automated testing.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing systems.
Knowledge of security, accessibility, and data protection standards.
Ability to work in agile, multidisciplinary teams and participate in sprint reviews, demos, and collaborative planning.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Design and lead the strategies for building reusable libraries and services.
Own the development of medium-long term strategies for product lines and the Software Engineering Community.
Identify and support the resolution of infrastructure faults.
Provide 3rd line support on products developed, including out of hours support as and when required.
Contribute and set strategic direction for product team and the wider Software Engineering community.
Collaborate & sharing of knowledge and good practice with the wider software engineering community.
Support community discussions about best practice within Software Engineering
