DEV-OPS Engineer

• Administration of Linux servers and container environments (Docker)
• Further development and maintenance of existing Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
• Scripting (Bash, Python, etc.)
• Deployment in test and production environments
• Maintenance and monitoring of services and applications
• Support development teams with process optimization and automation
• Quality assurance and optimization of system processes
• Provide second-level support

• Attractive salary: For this position, an annual gross salary starting at EUR 53,330 (KV 2025) is provided. In addition, we offer a market-based overpayment depending on qualifications and experience.

• Strong experience in Linux administration
• Proficiency with Docker
• Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
• Knowledge of Jenkins CI/CD pipelines (or similar solutions)
• Familiarity with automated testing and QA processes
• Monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Alertmanager)
• Experience with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
• GIT version control
• Strong problem analysis and problem-solving skills
• Several years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Good command of English and German

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Knowledge of networking (DNS, Routing, Firewall, VPN, etc.)
• Familiarity with containerization and virtualization technologies (e.g., LXC, Kubernetes, VMware)
• Experience with messaging, IoT, and observability technologies (e.g., MQTT/IoT, edge computing, OpenTelemetry, AMQP)
• Knowledge of documentation and diagramming tools/formats (e.g., Markdown, AsciiDoc, Antora, PlantUML, Mermaid)
• ISTQB and ITIL 4 certifications
