Sr Solutions Architect

As solution architect you will take a leading role in the specification and roll out of our client's product roadmap. You will join a multi-disciplinary team and will oversee designing the architecture of their API-based platform., * Build and maintain- in close collaboration with the Lead Architect - a solid end-to-end architecture of the company Platform.

• Our client being a software vendor, a particular focus will be put on the application architecture, whilst taking into consideration the technological choices made in their product.
• Collaborate with the Product Management to determine application needs and determine the appropriate applicative architecture (modular cut-out) given the business needs and non-functional requirements (NFR).
• Support the Program/Product team, to formalize and model the Strategic- and Business layer of the architecture (capabilities, business function, business processes, value streams, etc.).
• Design conceptual data models, and hand-over towards the business analysts for further specification, including support during creation of the logical data model.
• Determine a roll-out plan of the architectural blueprint per development squad.
• Support the development squads in the adoption- and eventual modification- of the architecture.
• Ensure the delivered solution respects the application architecture

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a solution architect;
• Strong understanding of microservices oriented architecture;
• Team-player and team-oriented attitude;
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to quickly understand and resolve issues, in the context of IT-oriented projects;

What makes you stand out

• Proficient working experience in the ArchiMate modelling language, preferably within Sparx Enterprise Architect;
• Proficient working experience with API-based micro-service architecture and preferably DDD;
• Experience with relational database management system (SQL Server, PostgreSQL), and graph database (GraphQL);
• Understanding of SAFe/Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in a product-oriented environment, preferably software vendor.
• Knowledge of banking and finance topics;
• Knowledge of business process modeling techniques such as BPMN;
