About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team consisting of a BI architect and data engineers. You will work closely with various departments within the organization to ensure that data engineering efforts are aligned with business objectives. You will play a strong role in developing and maintaining the central data warehouse and lead the transition from MS SQL Server to MS Azure. Evaluating and optimising BI architectures and data streams, as well as fostering collaboration and innovation within your team, are part of your daily tasks. As Teamlead Data Engineering Team, you will contribute to the growth and evolution of data solutions at DSV Solutions.

Tasks:

• Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders to align data engineering efforts with organisational goals and priorities;

• Lead and inspire team of BI architect and data engineers to foster a collaborative and innovative working environment;

• Implement, develop and maintain central data warehouse with a focus on continuous improvement and scalability;

• Design and implement BI architectures to support business intelligence initiatives and ensure integrated data sources and quality. • Bachelor's degree in information technology, preferably complemented by a master's degree in data science;

• Strong leadership skills to effectively inspire and lead a team.strong skills in multi-dimensional data modelling and business intelligence, with a proven track record of successful implementations;

• Extensive knowledge of MS SQL Server management, including SSMS, SSRS, SSIS and SSAS;

• Extensive knowledge of the MS Power platform, including PowerBI, PowerAutomate and PowerApps;

• Ability to collaborate effectively with various cross-functional teams to execute and align data engineering projects with business objectives.
