Job description
Develop and optimize Python-based tools to improve calibration workflow efficiency. Create scripts for data analytics and data mining to extract insights from TCU data. Automate data processing tasks to enhance accuracy and reduce manual effort. Support the Functional Validation & Performance team with tool improvements to enhance productivity. Assist in validating control strategies through data-driven analysis and scripting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate tool improvements into workflows. Interact with internal and external stakeholders to optimize tool usage and implementation.
Requirements
Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with a strong interest in automotive applications. Proficiency in Python programming, with experience in scripting for data processing and analytics. VBA programming knowledge is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, goal-oriented mindset. Knowledge of powertrain dynamics and automotive systems is an asset. Excellent written and spoken English, with clear communication and reporting skills. Experience with data analytics tools and techniques is a plus. Familiarity with calibration tools/data acquisition systems (e.g., Vector Canape, ETAS INCA) is advantageous. Knowledge of block diagrams and Matlab/Simulink is a plus. Experience with AVL DRIVE, AVL CAMEO, AVL SPA, or AVL CRETA is a plus.
