Tasks

  • Configure ESTW systems per project requirements and specifications.
  • Draft project-specific documentation like interface specs and design notes.
  • Coordinate with teams, clients, and stakeholders throughout the project., * Configuration of ESTW systems according to system requirements and project-specific characteristics
  • Writing project-specific documentation, such as interface specifications (BU), hardware design, release notes, etc.
  • Coordination with internal teams, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
  • Support during assembly, installation, testing, commissioning, and approval as well as all other project-related activities
  • Comparison of client requirements with the generic product and creation of a project-specific system description
  • Collaborate with sales teams to handle the technical aspect of quotes, respond to client needs while aligning the solution with the generic product, * discounts on various leisure activities, mobile phone subscriptions, and insurance

Requirements

  • Completed technical training as an engineer or comparable qualification.
  • Experience in railway signaling and ESTW projects is preferred.
  • Strong team spirit, autonomous, and solution-oriented mindset., * Completed technical training as an electrical, mechanical, or computer engineering graduate (EPF/TU/HES) or comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in railway signaling are desired. Experience in ESTW projects is a great advantage
  • Knowledge of railway signaling principles and practices (electrical interlockings)
  • Experience using the Polarion tool for requirements management
  • Good command of French and German, English is an advantage
  • Team spirit, autonomous, goal- and solution-oriented
  • Willingness to travel for business (up to 25%)
