Job description
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with RPA delivery experience within UK policing to support automation initiatives across operational, investigative, and back-office functions. The ideal candidate understands policing data flows, national standards, and secure environments, and can translate complex operational processes into controlled, auditable, automatable workflows., * Lead process discovery and mapping across policing functions (crime, intel, custody, case prep, back-office units).
- Conduct fit-for-automation assessments, ensuring alignment with force standards and security constraints.
- Quantify benefits including FTE savings, accuracy improvement, risk reduction, and compliance uplift.
- Document current-state and future-state processes using BPMN or equivalent.
Requirements

Active NPPV3 clearance, used within the last 6 months - Mandatory for this role .

3-5+ years working as a Business Analyst with demonstrable end-to-end RPA delivery.

Experience delivering automation within policing or other secure public safety environments.

Hands-on knowledge of one or more RPA platforms:

UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, or Microsoft Power Automate.
Proven experience working with RPA developers, solution architects, security teams, and operational policing units.
Desirable Experience
- Experience working with policing systems such as Niche RMS, Athena, PNC, PND, or Digital Case File systems.
- Knowledge of Home Office data standards, NPCC guidance, and force information security requirements.
- Understanding of public safety workflows, including investigations, case management, intelligence, digital evidence, and command & control environments.
- Process mining experience (Celonis, UiPath Process Mining, Power BI analytics).
