Job description
The Team Lead - Global IT/OT Network is responsible for leading the global network team and ensuring the design, availability, performance, and security of IT and OT network environments across a GMP-regulated organization. The role ensures networks reliably support manufacturing, laboratory, and enterprise systems while meeting regulatory and cybersecurity requirements., * Lead and develop a global team of network engineers, including performance management and on-call support models.
- Define and execute the global IT/OT network strategy, architecture standards, and roadmaps (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, data centers, cloud connectivity, and OT/ICS networks).
- Ensure compliance with GxP and relevant cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, IEC 62443, ISO 27001).
- Implement and maintain IT/OT segmentation, zones and conduits, firewalls, NAC, VPN, and secure remote access solutions.
- Own network operations including monitoring, incident response, problem management, change control, and capacity planning in alignment with ITIL and GMP validation requirements.
- Manage vendors, service providers, contracts, and SLAs; oversee vendor performance.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7-10+ years of enterprise networking experience, including leadership of global or multi-site teams.
- Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or medical devices.
- Strong technical knowledge of routing/switching, firewalling, high availability, OT/ICS networking, and cloud networking.
- Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, CISSP, GICSP, or ITIL.
- Experience supporting manufacturing and laboratory systems (SCADA, DCS, PLC, MES, LIMS, historian systems).
