Job description

  • Ensuring the perceived quality process implementation in tender and development by:
  • Agreeing on an overall strategy with design & industrial stakeholders
  • Specifying PQ proven concepts to meet client expectations and ease industrial processes
  • Specifying perceived junctions in their technical solutions and tolerances
  • Simulating main junctions satisfying perception in all industrial conditions
  • Obtaining validation from client before production launch
  • Managing all PQ activities end to end, from tender definition to First Mounting Review (FMR)
  • Delivering Kano Balance document as a synthesis of co-engineer workshops considering positioning assumptions, quality signs assessment, mitigation opportunities, junctions strategy & perception cartography
  • Offering project reference solutions or off-cycle solutions all along the tender/project cycle and performing perception impact comparisons
  • Defining project Perceived Junction specification gathering all repeatable zones of visible interfaces, and defining nominal and tolerances for each of their parameters
  • Sharing RoE and proposing concrete mechanical concepts to reconciliate technical, industrial, aesthetic constraints (A is TMIE)
  • Contributing to métier continuous improvement related to development (best practices, enablers, road blockers) and customer interface

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in R&D, Design in Aeronautical, Automotive or Railways engineering department
  • Operational interface with other internal & external stakeholders beyond design department: industrial / maintenance / customer / supplier / design agency
  • Basic handmade sketching (2D sections and rough perspective)
  • 3D quick modeling (Alias / Catia) and realistic visualization software (Vred / Blender)
  • English conversational/writing/reading operational level
  • Lean & didactic graphic presentation skills (PowerPoint / photoshop / illustrator)
  • Familiar with collaborative innovation processes Good communication skills, pro-activity, team working
