Job description
As a CMS Specialist (Website) for BYD Benelux NSC, you will be responsible for managing and improving all digital touchpoints related to the Benelux website and email communication channels. You will ensure website accuracy, enhance user experience, drive conversions, and support Benelux marketing campaigns through effective email communication.
This position requires a strong blend of technical skills, marketing insight, and cross-functional coordination with internal stakeholders, dealer partners, and development teams in China., Website Management
- Manage and update all BYD Benelux website content to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong commercial messaging.
- Collaborate with Benelux stakeholders to transform business needs into actionable website improvements.
- Own the backlog of website updates and coordinate with the development team for smooth execution.
- Improve user journeys to increase engagement, test-drive requests, and lead conversions.
- Implement and optimize SEO best practices (technical + on-page) to boost organic visibility across Benelux markets.
- Ensure website compliance with GDPR, cookie laws, and regional digital regulations.
Analytics & Optimization
- Monitor website performance and customer behavior using Adobe Analytics, GTM, and other reporting tools.
- Generate regular insights and performance reports tailored to Benelux marketing objectives.
- Conduct A/B tests and CRO initiatives to continuously improve digital conversion rates.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance digital engagement and lead-generation efficiency.
Email Marketing
- Develop and launch Benelux-focused email campaigns, including newsletters, product updates, lead nurturing, and CRM sequences.
- Write and optimize Dutch-language email content aligned with brand tone and customer expectations.
- Manage segmentation strategies to improve relevance and campaign impact.
- Track campaign performance and provide data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure GDPR-compliant data handling and communication processes.
Key Results (KPIs):
- Improved website metrics (traffic, bounce rate, average session duration).
- Increased test-drive bookings, lead submissions, and newsletter subscriptions.
- Strong SEO growth across Benelux search engines.
- Scalable and efficient email marketing structure for Benelux
Requirements
Technical & Web Operations
- 2-3 years of experience with Content Management System (CMS), Shopify, DAM tools, and Marketo or similar platforms.
- Knowledge in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and general web troubleshooting.
- Solid experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and SEO tools.
- Understanding of GDPR, cookie management, and website privacy requirements.
- Ability to coordinate with international development teams, particularly in China, to ensure proper system integration.
Digital Marketing Expertise as a Plus
- Demonstrated skills in CRO, A/B testing, UX improvement, and funnel analysis.
- Strong understanding of SEO (on-page, technical, architecture).
- Ability to produce clear, compelling Dutch digital content (web + email).
Other expertise
- Native Dutch speaker with excellent English communication.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, agencies, and internal stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
