Full-Stack DevOps Engineer (m|w|d) remote | hybrid

Your purpose: Are you a DevOps Engineer looking to deepen your software engineering skills, or a software developer experienced in operations? Do you have strong JVM expertise and enjoy bridging the gap between development and operations? We're looking for someone who can contribute to both engineering and operational excellence-technically and organizationally.

What you do?

• Collaborate with developers and IT operations to deploy and operate scalable, reliable, and secure systems.
• Design and implement automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Manage and monitor production systems on AWS (ECS, EC2, RDS, networking) and Azure.
• Use Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Implement and manage containerization solutions with Docker (x64 and ARM).
• Maintain and optimize JVM-based applications, especially in Scala.
• Contribute to coding, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Automate system provisioning and configuration using IaC tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test, and production environments.
• Improve system reliability, performance, and security through monitoring and proactive measures.

Team & Process Support (This is not a team lead role-focus is on coordination and daily organizational support.)

• Help the team follow established processes and workflows.
• Ensure tasks and work items are consistently captured and visible on the board.
• Moderate or support recurring team meetings when needed (e.g., stand-ups, retros).
• Encourage good organizational practices such as documentation and ticket hygiene.

• Experience in both software development and IT operations.
• Knowledge of JVM-based languages (Scala, Java, Kotlin).
• Proficiency with Docker and containerization.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure.
• Practical experience with Terraform.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes (nice to have).
• MySQL administration knowledge (nice to have).
• Basic skills in Go or Rust (nice to have).
• Interest in supporting team organization and smooth day-to-day operations., * Collaborative and effective at connecting development and operations.
