As a Senior ERP Functional Consultant, you'll be at the heart of our IT product "Hygiene Business Administration", driving its success throughout the entire lifecycle. Acting as the go-to expert for business users, you'll ensure smooth application adaptation and support, manage change requests, and resolve issues swiftly to keep operations running seamlessly. This role blends functional expertise with technical insight to design, implement, and continuously improve ERP system components.
Mission
Partner with the Product Manager to transform business needs into smart ERP solutions. From analyzing requirements to designing, planning, and optimizing functional and technical components, you'll lead initiatives that make our ERP system robust, efficient, and future-ready. Your mission: deliver excellence in every stage of ERP development and implementation., * Capture and prioritize business requirements, maintain the product backlog, and translate needs into functional specifications (FRD/FDD).
- Coordinate solution design and development, including release management, test case creation, and acceptance testing.
- Support ERP users by managing change requests, providing guidance, and ensuring smooth system operation.
- Drive ERP implementation and service delivery, ensuring SLA compliance and sustainable performance improvements.
- Collaborate with business units and external partners to deliver tailored IT solutions and customize ERP for local requirements.
- Monitor and optimize the ERP landscape, including interfaces with Service, Supply, and CRM, and perform root cause analysis for issues.
- Contribute to product strategy, backlog planning, sprint execution, and release coordination.
Requirements

- Completed vocational training or studies in IT, economics, or an equivalent field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant business processes.
- At least 4 years of professional experience supporting ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 FO).
- Excellent skills in needs identification, software/system design, service delivery, problem management, and technology monitoring.
- Proactive, hands-on mentality with a passion for driving initiatives forward. Strong analytical and conceptual skills, team player, able to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Structured, calm, and able to maintain a helicopter view even in complex situations.
- Advanced proficiency in German and English (written and spoken).
