The Senior Product Expert ERP D365 plays a key role in supporting the IT product "Hygiene Business Administration" throughout its entire lifecycle. This position acts as the primary contact for business users regarding application adaptation and support, manages prioritization of change requests, triages support tickets, and ensures timely resolution to maintain business continuity. The role requires a balanced functional and technical perspective to design, implement, and optimize ERP system components.
Mission
Support the product manager in analyzing customer requirements, designing, planning, implementing, and optimizing functional and technical components of the ERP solution. Plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to the design, development, and implementation of the ERP system., * Define, prioritize, and validate customer requirements.
- Maintain the product backlog.
- Support ERP users by recording requirements, assisting with Change Request creation, and forwarding to development.
- Coordinate business requirements and define functional specifications (FRD and FDD).
- Support solution and system design.
- Assist in the creation of test cases and align with key users.
- Participate actively in ERP system development, including release management.
- Plan and conduct system and acceptance tests.
- Implement requirements from Service Level Agreements.
- Support ERP system implementation, operation, and service delivery.
- Review performance indicators and initiate improvements.
- Work with business units and external partners to implement IT solutions.
- Customize the ERP system for country-specific needs, customer care, and contract management.
- Conduct root cause analysis for bugs and optimize the application sustainably.
- Contribute to product strategy, service catalog, product backlog, project backlog, sprint and release planning, and test plans.
- Monitor and design the ERP solution cross-functionally.
- Maintain an overview of the ERP landscape, including interfaces with Service, Supply, and CRM.
- Support and supervise business users on ERP system usage.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training or studies in IT, economics, or an equivalent field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant business processes.
- At least 4 years of professional experience supporting ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 FO).
- Excellent skills in needs identification, software/system design, service delivery, problem management, and technology monitoring.
- Proactive, hands-on mentality with a passion for driving initiatives forward. Strong analytical and conceptual skills, team player, able to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Structured, calm, and able to maintain a helicopter view even in complex situations.
- Advanced proficiency in German and English (written and spoken).
