• Degree in Computer Science or a related field with 4 to 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong programming skills in a modern programming language such as Go, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java. Go and Python are preferred.
• Proven expertise in applying distributed systems and cloud-native principles to build robust, scalable software.
• Hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration (like Kubernetes and Docker), and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with agile software development processes.
• A passion for tackling complex problems and a drive to learn new things.
• Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken, as well as excellent communication skills overall.

Beneficial

• Hands-on experience with cloud-native tools like Gardener, Istio, Helm, and ArgoCD.
• Proficiency with modern observability stacks, including OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus to ensure performance.
• Familiarity with (generative) AI and related serving and inference frameworks such as v-llm or llm-d.
• Working knowledge of or experience in operating within the SAP Cloud Infrastructure (SCI) ecosystem.

In this role, you'll: * You'll design, build, and operate the highly available cloud services that our AI features run on. * Take full end-to-end ownership of deliverables, driving tangible outcomes while mentoring and developing less-experienced engineers. * Build a scalable and fault-tolerant infrastructure for running AI workloads using modern technologies. * Develop robust automation and monitoring to support continuous delivery across multiple cloud providers. * Develop proof-of-concepts to evaluate new technologies and services to solve tomorrow's challenges and keep our platform cutting-edge.
