Job description

  • Define system-level requirements, architecture, and technical budgets
  • Perform trade-offs, feasibility studies, and risk assessments
  • Manage requirement flow-down and ensure compliance at subsystem level
  • Coordinate interfaces across spacecraft, payload, and ground segments
  • Prepare technical documentation for major design reviews
  • Support planning for AIT and future operational phases
  • Define and review system-level test specifications and verification plans
  • Maintain spacecraft databases and simulators
  • Collaborate with subsystem engineers, and European suppliers
  • Contribute to technical risk management and system validation activities

Requirements

  • You hold a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Engineering, Physics, or a related field
  • You bring experience in satellite projects, ideally in system engineering and early phases (A/B1)
  • You thrive in an innovative environment, are proactive, and enjoy solving complex challenges
  • You can work independently while coordinating effectively within a diverse team
  • You communicate confidently in English (written and spoken); German or other languages are a plus
  • You are curious, solution-oriented, and eager to contribute to next-generation navigation technologies
