IT-Security Compliance Officer

For our client, a leading defense tech company, we seek a Senior IT-Security Compliance Officer to create and maintain IT security at the highest level and contribute to protecting from cyber threats Job Purpose Do you love keeping IT security at the highest level and want to actively contribute to protecting our organization from cyber threats? In this position, you will create and maintain security-related documentation and reports, analyze and assess security risks, and contribute significantly to the improvement of our processes. Join our team and help shape the IT security landscape., Language: German and English (C1 level) Create and maintain security-related documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders, with regular reporting to internal function holders. Identify, analyze, and assess security risks of IT (security) architectures, systems, and information. Conduct security audits and continuously improve processes by identifying vulnerabilities and potential threats within the IT organization. Collaborate with internal departments, authorities, and external partners to exchange security-related information, and work with your teammates to develop new IT security solutions. Train employees on security-related topics and raise awareness about the secure handling of sensitive information and technical installations.

• A completed degree in IT-Security, Information Systems, or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience. Experience:

• Several years of professional experience in the IT field, particularly in IT-Security or IT-Governance & Compliance.

• Experience in creating and evaluating IT security concepts.

• Knowledge of BSI IT-Grundschutz is a plus.

• Initial experience in auditing a complex IT environment. Technical Skills:

• Create and evaluate IT security concepts.

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk evaluations.

• Lead IT security audits. Soft Skills:

• Strong sense of responsibility.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics in an understandable manner.
