Senior Power BI Engineer (Microsoft Fabric & Azure)

We are looking for a Senior Power BI Engineer to design enterprise-grade BI architectures, automated data pipelines, and AI-driven reporting solutions. This is not a dashboard role, you'll build scalable systems using Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and Power Platform.

Your tasks

1. Power BI Development & Reporting Automation

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards to support various business functions
• Implement automated reporting workflows based on predefined thresholds, alerts, and KPIs to proactively notify stakeholders of key business changes
• Develop and optimize data models, DAX calculations, and Power Query transformations to ensure efficient performance and scalability
• Ensure high standards of data accuracy, consistency, and security within the Power BI environment

2. Microsoft Fabric Implementation

• Setup and management of Microsoft Fabric environments, including Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Pipelines
• Collaborate with the data engineering team to design and deploy end-to-end data pipelines using Fabric for unified data management
• Leverage Fabric features to automate data ingestion, transformation, and delivery for enterprise reporting

3. Power Platform Integration (Power Automate & Power Apps)

• Develop and maintain Power Automate workflows for data refresh scheduling, alert automation, and system integration
• Build Power Apps solutions to provide interactive business tools that complement Power BI reporting
• Ensure seamless integration across Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and other Microsoft 365 services

4. Copilot & AI-Driven Reporting

• Implement and configure Microsoft Copilot agents to enable AI-powered, natural language-driven analytics and user assistance
• Integrate Copilot within Power BI and Fabric environments to enhance report creation and automation efficiency
• Evaluate and deploy emerging AI-driven analytics features to improve reporting intelligence and user experience

• 7+ years of experience in Power BI development, data modeling, and business intelligence reporting
• Proven experience in Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Pipelines)
• Hands-on experience with Power Automate and Power Apps for workflow and app automation
• Practical knowledge of Azure data ecosystem (Data Factory, Synapse, Azure SQL)
• Experience in SAP BW integration and data extraction to Power BI or Azure environments is a strong advantage
• Experience with AI/Copilot-enabled reporting and data automation concepts
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query (M language), and data modeling
• Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, ETL processes, and data governance
• Proficiency in SQL, Azure services, and data performance optimization
• Ability to design end-to-end reporting solutions from data source to visualization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
