We are looking for an AI Platform Engineer (m/f/d), to build and operate shared AI infrastructure and developer platforms that enable AI for every engineer in the organization. You will build platforms, services, and integrations that scale across teams, integrate deeply with our existing CI/CD and DevOps toolchain, and significantly improve developer productivity and operational efficiency.

This role is intended for senior engineers with experience building and owning shared platforms used across multiple teams. The platform you build will be used by hundreds of engineers across the organization.

What you will do as an AI Platform Engineer (m/f/d):

• Design and operate a company-wide AI platform used by multiple engineering teams
• Build infrastructure for LLM access, inference, orchestration, evaluation, monitoring, and cost control
• Own MCP-based infrastructure (model communication / orchestration layer), including routing, permissions, safety, and observability
• Design and enhance DevOps and CI/CD systems with AI
• Integrate AI into developer workflows (Git, CI systems, issue tracking, observability)
• Build data curation and retrieval pipelines for AI systems (training, fine-tuning, RAG, evaluation)
• Drive measurable improvements in developer productivity, CI signal quality, and operational efficiency
• Act as an internal multiplier: enable teams rather than building one-off solutions
• Collaborate with engineering teams across Germany, the US, China, and Japan

• Strong experience in platform, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering

• Production experience building distributed systems and shared services

• Hands-on experience integrating AI or LLMs into production workflows

• Deep understanding of CI/CD systems, cloud infrastructure, and automation

• Ability to design systems used by many teams with long-term ownership

• Proven experience working in distributed, intercultural and cross-functional teams

• Very good communication skills in English

• Ability to take ownership of complex systems in a low-guidance environment Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in scaled agile or large engineering organizations

• Experience in regulated environments (e.g. automotive, medical, aerospace)

• Experience in semiconductor testing and / or the semiconductor industry in general

• German and/or Japanese and/or Chinese language skills
