Cybersecurity Consultant

• Advise customers on solutions and products in the area of security
• Develop security architectures for our customers
• Plan the implementation of security solutions together with the customer
• Carry out the implementation of security solutions together with the customer
• Conduct workshops on security-related topics with our customers
• Support Security Operations as an L3 specialist
• Contribute to defending against cyberattacks and to system recovery
• Analyze and assess cyberattacks
• Perform technical security checks (vulnerability scanning, penetration testing)
• Develop automations based on modern security automation tools for our customers and for q.beyond Security Operations

• Extensive expertise in common security products (EDR/XDR, SIEM/SOAR, Vulnerability Management, DLP) from leading vendors (e.g. Microsoft, CrowdStrike, Splunk)
• Hands-on mentality when introducing/evaluating security products
• In-depth knowledge of current security threats and typical attack patterns
• Good knowledge of general IT security methods such as authorization and access management
• Solid understanding of IT networks, cloud, big data and operating systems
• Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (e.g. ISO 27001, GDPR/DSGVO, NIS2, BSI IT-Grundschutz, B3S, KRITIS)
• Fluent German and English skills
