• Tech Stack: Python (Django/FastAPI), SQL & NoSQL (PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, DynamoDB, Redis), data lakes/warehouses, Celery, Docker, AWS, GitLab CI/CD, Sentry, Grafana
• Your Focus: Data modelling, database architecture, time-series data, ETL pipelines, performance, scalability, data integration improvements, automations, legacy improvements
• Team: Newly formed platform squad with two Senior Engineers (one API, one Data/DB), one Junior Engineer, and a Modelling expert transitioning from the Modelling team, direct CTO access, collaborative culture, async-friendly, regular pair programming
• Product: Advanced energy trading & optimization platform, real-time APIs, heavy data flows, ML integrations, high complexity
• Who thrives here: Senior backend engineers with broad experience in SQL & NoSQL, data management tools, and scalable data architectures - ready to drive innovation
