Job description
We are looking for an experienced Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) Architect to join our client on a fully remote basis. This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing automation solutions using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), ensuring efficiency, scalability, and security in IT infrastructure automation.
Tasks
- Architect and implement automation solutions using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
- Design workflows, playbooks, and integrations to streamline IT operations and DevOps processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess automation needs and develop strategic solutions.
- Optimize and scale automation frameworks, ensuring high availability and security.
- Provide guidance and best practices on Ansible adoption within enterprise environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Document architecture, automation strategies, and processes for knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Ansible Architect or Automation Engineer, with expertise in Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
- Strong knowledge of Linux administration, infrastructure automation, and configuration management.
- Hands-on experience in designing and implementing automation at an enterprise scale.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, Terraform).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
