Senior SAP Digital Manufacturing Technical Consultant

The SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM) Consultant is responsible for supporting customers design, implement, and optimize and extend SAP Digital Manufacturing solutions. This role focuses on enabling customizations through SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) components, integrating external systems, and leveraging advanced technologies such as machine learning for shop floor automation., * Solution Design & Architecture: Analyze customer requirements for DM extensibility (In-App, POD, Process, Field, Side-by-Side).

• Configure and manage integration flows via SAP Integration Suite.
• Design extensibility architecture leveraging SAP BTP.
• Development & Integration: Support build and deploy custom extensions.
• Architect side-by-side applications and custom KPIs.
• Customer Enablement: Conduct workshops, training sessions, and provide guidance on DM extensibility and development tools., * Permanent position in a large, international, highly qualified team of experts.

Do you have experience in Writing skills?, * Solid understanding of manufacturing processes (discrete and process industries).

• Experience in of SAP DM, SAP ME or MII.
• Experience in designing and developing custom apps in SAP BTP.
• Ability to design and implement extensibility (In-POD, POD, Process and Field).
• Proficiency in SAPUI5, JavaScript, Node.js, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite (CPI, iFlows) and API Hub.
• Familiarity with KPI design and performance management.
• Tools: Business Application Studio, Visual Studio Code, GitHub, Kubernetes client.

Preferred Qualification:

• Knowledge of Machine Learning (BYOM).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration and shop floor systems.
• Knowledge of SAP Plant Connectivity (PCo) and industrial automation protocols.
• Familiarity with machine learning Machine Learning frameworks.

Experience:

• 4-8 years of experience implementing MES systems.
• Ideally has implemented 2 or more SAP ME, MII MES or DM projects successfully.
• Has worked with the SAP project methodologies.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA integration and ERP data structures.

Other Skills:

• Good speaking and writing skills in German and English.
• Good communication and stakeholder management. Ability to translate Requirements Engineering input into technical solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
