Data Engineer

You are a Data Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in a similar position. You will support a multidisciplinary team that provides software services and your main task will be to expand the capabilities of the cloud-based predictive analytics platform. You will work directly on the new data functions of diverse client's own software and will be exposed to the use of best practices to achieve business objectives. RESPONSABILITIES

• Collaborate with different teams of engineers to implement solutions that align with the SW platform.
• Identify ways to improve the reliability, efficiency and quality of the data.
• Improve applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations, and designing and implementing systems.
• Maintain and improve existing code bases and peer review code changes.
• Help with process optimization
• Develop automated and deployment pipelines for your services
• Participate in post-implementation support and system maintenance.
• Develop and integrate cutting-edge tools and frameworks to create and implement scalable and efficient machine learning solutions.

• Educational background: STEM University degree (Statistics, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)
• Competence to work with a modern programming language (for example, Javascript or Python)
• Proven experience in developing cloud-based and scalable software applications and services.
• Experience in managing large data sets and ETL pipelines.
• Experience in deploying production applications in a public cloud (bonus points for AWS)
• Experience with cloud environments, SQL / NoSQL databases, containers (Docker)
• Knowledge about the development and consumption of APIs and microservices to facilitate access to data, business logic and workflows.
• Experience in building and implementing end-to-end systems
