About the Role We're looking for a highly skilled Integration Engineer to join our growing technology team and lead the development of integrations for our new clinical data platform. The role will focus primarily on different clinical trials systems integrations, ensuring seamless data exchange, synchronization, and automation between Biorce systems and our partners' ecosystems. This position is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in API integrations, cloud platforms, and data workflows - and who thrives in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. Key Responsibilities * Design, implement, and maintain robust integrations between Biorce's core applications and external systems, for example Veeva Vault, Veeva CRM, and other systems used to manage clinical trials. * Develop scalable data exchange solutions using APIs, web services, and middleware tools. * Collaborate closely with product, data engineering, and DevOps teams to define integration requirements, architecture, and deployment strategies. * Manage end-to-end integration lifecycle - from requirements gathering to testing, deployment, and ongoing support. * Monitor and optimize data synchronization performance, error handling, and logging for reliability and compliance. * Ensure integration designs align with security and compliance (ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA). * Document integration processes, data mappings, and system dependencies for maintainability and audit readiness. * Stay current with Veeva API updates, SDKs, and integration best practices to continuously improve existing workflows. Required Qualifications * 3+ years of experience in system or software integration, ideally in life sciences, healthcare, or regulated environments. * Hands-on experience with software integrations - using REST APIs, SDKs, or middleware tools (Veeva software suite is a plus). * Solid understanding of API-based architectures, data models, and authentication (OAuth2, SSO, etc.). * Strong programming/scripting skills in Python or .NET for API and automation tasks. * Experience working with cloud services and CI/CD pipelines (GCP is a plus). * Proficiency in data formats (JSON, XML, CSV) and data transformation frameworks. * Familiarity with database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and integration between structured and unstructured data sources. * Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Preferred Qualifications * Prior experience in clinical research or pharmaceutical data systems. * Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, GxP, or 21 CFR Part 11. * Proven experience integrating SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, or Workday). * Understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, Pub/Sub). * Contributions to automation or integration of open-source projects.
