Blockchain Developer (C++ / Bitcoin Core) - Unreal Engine 5 Integration Omniverse Studios is developing Omniverse: The Primordial Battlezone, a large-scale multiplayer with a unique optional reward layer based on blockchain technology. We are looking for a highly skilled blockchain developer to design and integrate a custom lightweight blockchain mechanism directly into Unreal Engine 5-no third-party SDKs, no external wrappers. The ideal candidate is a low-level systems developer with real-world experience in Bitcoin Core, multithreading, networking, and peer-to-peer protocols, with the ability to work inside a game engine runtime environment. Strong proficiency in modern C++ Experience with Bitcoin Core codebase Solid understanding of mini-blockchain schemes or lightweight client implementations Multithreading programming experience (mutex, lock-free structures, async tasks) Unreal Engine 5 C++ integration experience (UE5 module/plugin setup) Desired requirements Previous experience building or modifying custom token or wallet logic Understanding of digital signature verification and block validation Knowledge of UE5''''s Blueprints and Gameplay Framework Experience in bridging native C++ code to game logic layers Security-conscious: awareness of KYC/AML best practices in crypto reward systems Duties Design and implement a lightweight blockchain interaction system within Unreal Engine 5 Create a simplified client layer or embedded mini-node logic Enable real-time querying, syncing, and reward validation inside the game Ensure low-latency and secure integration with backend or node services Work alongside game developers to expose blockchain hooks to gameplay Write documentation for internal use and future maintainability A highly ambitious project with global exposure and commercial vision Creative autonomy and input on system architecture Remote work Bonus structure tied to system success and game performance #J-18808-Ljbffr
