Eurecat has eleven centers in Catalonia and presence in Madrid, Malaga and Chile. The Opportunity You will join the Trustworthy AI team, a tight group of researchers and developers working on cutting-edge projects in the fields of explainable AI, AI compliance, data quality and data value for data markets and data spaces. We'd love for a smart, curious person, who can dive into a diversity of topics and efficiently translate research outputs into AI and data prototypes or products. Who we are? The Big Data & Data Science Unit takes part in R&D projects covering a diversity of domains for stakeholders in Europe, Spain and Catalunya. We believe that the benefits of AI and data should be fairly distributed among contributing individuals and believe in the social impact of what we do. We develop domain-agnostic technology, meaning that we're a curious bunch, we value a research mindset and have to be able to quickly, but reliably prototype our ideas. Cooperation is chief amongst us and the expertise of one member quickly diffuses through the team, such that the others can benefit from it as well. What you'll do * Analyse project requirements and identify research directions. * Research the state of the art, synthesise findings, identify research and technology gaps. * Conceptualise, design and implement AI and data solutions. * Communicate your results with the team and project stakeholders. If interested, join us in writing papers and presenting them in relevant venues. * Participate in writing project proposals - this is an opportunity to target projects and areas that we're passionate about and seek funding. The team works partly remote (2 days/week at the office).
