Senior Cloud & Software Architect | European Institutions (Java, Microservices, Angular)

Position Senior Cloud & Software Architect (Java, Microservices, Angular) | European Institutions We are currently looking for a Senior Architect with strong hands-on development skills to support our client's projects at a prestigious European Institution in Brussels. The mission involves architecture design, modernization of enterprise systems, and development of secure, scalable solutions, with a strong focus on Java, Microservices, Cloud-Native applications, and Angular. Your Tasks * Designing and enforcing enterprise-grade architectures. * Driving the transition from monolithic systems to

microservices. * Building cloud-native applications and secure DevSecOps pipelines. * Guiding development teams while remaining actively involved in coding. * For this job, you should reside maximum within 2 hours by car from Brussels, with up to 5 days per month required onsite. Your Skills and Experience Mandatory expertise : * 10+ years in Architecture Design (patterns, enterprise frameworks, multi-tier applications). * 10+ years in Microservices (event-driven, eventual consistency, orchestration). * 10+ years in Cloud-Native applications (containerization, orchestration, scalable services). * 10+ years in Java / JEE (Spring Boot, migrations). * 5+ years with Angular 2+ (preferably Angular 18). * 5+ years in Cloud DevSecOps (IaC, Docker, Vault, Consul, OAuth2, OpenID Connect). * 5+ years with Cloud & Container Services (CaaS, orchestration, cloud infra). * 5+ years in Architecture Enforcement & Review (architecture-as-code). * 5+ years with Observability / Monitoring Tools (Dynatrace, ElasticSearch, Grafana). Additional knowledge highly valued : * TOGAF, ITIL, IASA, Oracle, Spring, Angular, Cloud Security, OAuth certifications. * Strong experience in REST / SOAP APIs, Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Liquibase. * CI / CD tools : Jenkins, GitLab, Sonar, Bitbucket. * NGINX, SOAP UI, IntelliJ / Eclipse, Maven / Ant. * Agile / Scrum methodologies. Extra Information * Contract type: Permanent employment or freelance * Start date: ASAP (before the end of the year) * Location : Brussels, Belgium * Work mode : Reside maximum within 2 hours by car from Brussels, with up to 5 days / month required onsite.
