Java Application Developer - Java/TypeScript/Frontend/Spring/Banking - 100% / Zurich

Project: For our banking client in the Zurich region, we are looking for an experienced Java application developer (m/f/d) with a strong focus on backend development who will further develop existing applications in the area of investments and pensions and also take on operational tasks as part of a DevOps approach.

Tasks and responsibilities:

*Further development and maintenance of Java-based backend services in the area of investments and pensions

*Implementation of new functions for eBanking modules in collaboration with specialist and IT teams

*Analysis, design and implementation of interfaces and backend components

*Collaboration on full-stack topics with a focus on backend and occasional support in frontend (Angular/TypeScript)

*Assumption of operational tasks as part of the DevOps approach (e.g. operation, error analysis, deployments)

*Collaboration in a distributed, virtual DevOps team with multiple technical and functional dependencies

Do you have experience in Spring Framework?, *Degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable education (university/technical university/ETH)

*Several years of experience (at least 5 years) in software development with Java, with a clear focus on backend development

*Very good knowledge of Java and common Java development frameworks (e.g. Spring)

*Experience with relational databases and SQL, ideally Oracle

*Knowledge of Angular and TypeScript for working on full-stack topics (not purely front-end focus)

*Experience with Linux-based systems and operational tasks in the DevOps environment

*Familiarity with working in complex system landscapes with many technical dependencies

*Ideally, basic technical knowledge in the area of investments and pensions

*Analytical, structured way of working with a high sense of quality and responsibility

*Team-oriented and independent way of working
