Job description
- Support and management of various IT applications, including SCADA systems, on Windows and Linux platforms
- Ensuring the operation of responsible applications in 3rd level support, including coordination with 1st and 2nd level support
- Technical analysis and troubleshooting for complex issues that cannot be resolved at the 1st or 2nd level
- Scripting and data analysis to identify and resolve system issues (e.g., writing scripts to restore missing data, analyzing system connections and performance)
- Diagnosing and resolving issues related to data availability, system connectivity, and network performance
- Collaborating with internal teams to develop optimizations and solutions for system challenges
- Creating and maintaining documentation and guidelines for 1st and 2nd level support
Requirements
- Completed training or degree in IT or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
- Experience in supporting and managing IT applications
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
- Experience with PowerShell and databases
- Analytical thinking and the ability to conduct in-depth troubleshooting
- High results orientation and quality awareness
- Proactive mindset with a structured and solution-oriented approach
- Team player with strong communication skills in an international environment
- Fluent English skills (spoken and written); ideally German or Spanish skills
- 2-3 years of professional experience in a similar role
