This role focuses on owning and optimizing the
global, large-scale cloud infrastructure
that powers our organization, with a specific emphasis on supporting
third-party tools,
key
AI-related services
and the related integrations. You'll be instrumental in driving operational efficiency and scalability across our systems., * for our public cloud-based infrastructure, including requirements gathering, architecting, vetting, building, and operational management.
- Automation & Operational Efficiency: Drive significant improvements in
- operational efficiency
- by developing
- scripts and integrations
- to automate repetitive operational tasks, reducing the need for manual intervention.
- AI Infrastructure Provisioning: Be a key contributor in
- provisioning and deploying infrastructure resources
- specifically tailored to support our cutting-edge
- AI-related services and tools.
- Monitoring & Instrumentation: Develop and enhance
- instrumentation
- for comprehensive monitoring of system
- health, availability, security, efficiency, and scalability

- Support & Troubleshooting: Manage a queue for

- Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Create
- accurate and clear technical documentation

- with senior leaders, operating managers, and professional staff across various teams regarding infrastructure needs and system requirements.
Requirements
- AWS Services: Independently design, deploy, and manage production-level infrastructure using core AWS services.Should understand and apply best practices for security and cost optimization within these services.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Extensive experience using IaC (preferably
- Terraform or AWS CDK)
- to define, provision, and manage cloud resources in a repeatable and scalable manner.
- Own the implementation
- of IaC modules for new features and contribute to the improvement of existing codebases with extensive experience using tools like GIT-based tools.
- Containerization & Serverless: Practical experience deploying and operating containers (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes). Ability to independently develop and deploy operational tools and functions usingservices as
- AWS Lambda and Step Functions.
- DevOps practices and systems integrations: Extensive experience using and building CI/CD pipelines.
Automation & Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
- Configuration Management: Hands-on expertise with configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, SaltStack or Ansible, for maintaining fleet consistency and state.
- Monitoring & Observability: Proficiency setting up and customizing monitoring, alerting, and logging to ensure system health and performance.
Nice to have:
- Experience in both
- Linux
- and
- Windows
- systems administration.
- Scripting for Operational Maturity: Solid proficiency in a high-level language like
- Python, Typescript or GO,
- to build robust automation tools and solve recurrent operational challenges, moving beyond simple one-off scripts.
- AWS AI/ML Tools: Direct experience provisioning and managing the underlying infrastructure for key AI services, specifically:
- Amazon SageMaker: Setting up and optimizing environments for notebooks, training jobs, and inference endpoints.
- Amazon Bedrock: Integrating and managing access to foundation models and related infrastructure components.
- Workflow automations understanding.
- Experience in the fintech or similar highly regulated business domains.
