Database Performance Specialist

• Architect, develop and maintain our marketing website and future web applications using modern tech stacks (Next.js, React, WordPress, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS).
• Lead back-end development, writing clean, efficient code, integrating APIs, and powering our marketing stack.
• Build our front-end to create engaging, responsive, and highly optimized user experiences.
• Work closely with our creative team to convert UI designs from Figma into fast, clean, production-ready code.
• Manage the web infrastructure, including hosting environments on platforms like Google Cloud Project and database management with Firebase.
• Develop and execute technical SEO strategies to maximize organic visibility and drive qualified traffic.
• Integrate AI services like OpenAI API and Google Vertex AI to build intelligent automations for content personalization, lead scoring, and customer interaction analysis.
• Conduct A / B tests and data analysis to identify key growth levers and optimize the conversion funnel.
• Write custom scripts to automate complex data manipulation, reporting, and system integration tasks that go beyond the capabilities of standard tools.
• Integrate third-party services, CRMs (HubSpot), and internal systems to create a seamless, automated flow of information across the company.
• Strong JavaScript / TypeScript and front-end development skills (Next.js, HTML5, Tailwind CSS)., Employees working from the Barcelona office must spend 1 full week at the San Vito dei Normanni (Italy) office every 3 months (i.e., Expenses : 100% of travel and accommodation expenses are reimbursed by Spoki). • Full-stack mindset: comfortable writing both client- and server-side code.
• Git / GitHub for version control.
• Comfortable working with databases.
• Collaborative, results-driven and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• 3-5 years of experience (or equivalent skills if you're a fast learner with a strong portfolio of past projects).
• WordPress or HubSpot development experience.
• Python scripting for automation and data tasks.
• Cloud platforms (Google Cloud) and database management.
• Curious learner: you're comfortable picking up new technologies as needed, especially AI.
• Strong English skills (written and spoken); Spanish is a bonus.
