SW Test Engineer

• Define SW Test Procedures to Verify and Validate (Qualification) SW functionality against SW Requirements.
• Preparation of test means necessary for formal and informal test campaigns.
• Maintenance and update of Simulations according new, deleted and modified SW Requirements.
• Preparation of Test Plans and Test Descriptions for the test campaigns.
• Execution of Tests and preparation of the Test Results for the needed test campaigns as Qualification evidence of the SW functionality
• Participation in Change management routines, Change management items analysis and Change Management decisions. Creation of PR's whenever SW requirements are not fulfilled and participation in ECRs preparation, discussion and acceptance.
• Participation in the Requirements deliveries validation in terms of testability.
• Participation in SW Quality routines in terms of testability, traceability and consistency.
• Participation in SW Reviews on SW Qualification evidences preparation and presentation.
• Preparation and Execution of additional tests as : Performance, Minimal and Non regression tests.

Academic studies in the field of Aerospace, Telecommunications, Informatic, or Industrial Engineering or similar. Specific Experience

• SW and System integration Testing.
• Avionics and Aeronautics
• Lab design, means and testing.

Specific Technical Skills

• Aeronautical and non Aeronautical communication Standards and protocols ( Arinc429, Milbus1553, RS485 / 232 / 422
• Lab instrumentation as Oscilloscope, protocol analysers, Multimeter.
• Embedded SW internals.
• Embedded HW internals.
• Avionics.

Specific Tools knowledge

• Simulation Tools : EASI, ARTIST (or similar)
• Good knowledge and experience in programming in C, C++, Python and Ada. Good attitude to learn additional programming skills.
• Knowledge of SW IDE's.
