Job description
Aveva PI System Implementation:

Install, configure, and maintain the Aveva PI Historian system.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PI Historian with other systems and applications.
Data Collection and Management:
- Implement data validation processes to maintain data integrity.
System Optimization and Performance Tuning:

Monitor system performance and implement optimization strategies to enhance the efficiency of the Aveva PI Historian platform.

Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in a timely manner.
Tag Configuration and Maintenance:

Create and configure PI tags based on specific project requirements.

Perform routine maintenance of tags and associated metadata.
Integration and Interfacing:

Collaborate with automation and control system engineers to ensure seamless integration between PI Historian and control systems.

Develop interfaces to integrate historical data with other applications and reporting tools.
Security and Compliance:

Implement security measures to protect historical data.

Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Documentation:

Maintain comprehensive documentation for all configurations, installations, and modifications made to the Aveva PI Historian system.

Create user guides and training materials as needed.
Requirements
We are seeking a skilled Aveva Pi Engineer with 1-3 years of hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and maintaining the Aveva PI Historian system. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting data historian infrastructure, ensuring data accuracy and contributing to the integration of historical data with various applications. This position requires a strong understanding of industrial processes, data management, and a proactive approach to problem-solving., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Work authorization for Spain
- 1-3 years of experience in implementing and maintaining Aveva PI Historian.
- Strong understanding of industrial processes and data historian concepts.
- Knowledge of OSIsoft PI System architecture and components
Preferred Skills:

Certification in Aveva PI System administration.

Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation tasks.

Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (OPC, Modbus, etc.).

Experience with SQL databases and query optimization.

Experience with PI Asset Framework (AF), PI Vision, and PI DataLink.

Familiarity with data integration techniques and protocols.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
