Cloud Security Specialist

Job Description On behalf of one of our clients, we are seeking a Cloud Security Specialist to join their Cloud Center of Expertise team in Zwolle, Overijssel. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the security and compliance of the organization's Azure cloud infrastructure. Job Description As a Cloud Security Specialist, you will: Design, implement, and manage security measures for cloud infrastructure, applications, and data Configure security services such as Azure Security Center, Azure Defender, and Azure Sentinel Implement network security measures Monitor and manage security logging via Azure Monitor and Log Analytics Detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents and threats Conduct post-incident investigations and root cause analyses Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001) Perform risk assessments and security audits Train and guide internal teams on security measures and best practices in Azure Requirements HBO-WO

level education In-depth knowledge of cloud concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and security principles Experience with implementation and management of Azure security tools and services Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills for security incidents Strong communication skills Proactive in identifying and addressing security risks Agile/Scrum competencies Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) Knowledge of Azure Fundamentals, Azure Security Center, Azure Defender for Cloud, and Azure Sentinel Benefits Salary up to €86,928 gross per year (based on a 38-hour work week, including holiday pay and 13th month, excluding variable compensation) One-year contract with prospect of permanent employment Variable Collective Performance Bonus of up to 9% of annual salary 26 vacation days Excellent study cost arrangement Good pension provision Travel expense reimbursement and work-from-home allowance Discount on insurance products This position is based in Zwolle, with possibilities for remote work.
