As a Simulation & Modelling Engineer, your role is to design virtual models of real-world projects, using complex computer software to represent manufacturing process/equipment. With your detailed designs, you contribute to cost reduction and time-efficiency, and facilitate virtual testing in situations where physical testing is impossible

Key Ingredients:

  • Model operational environments, perform trade studies via computer simulation and recommend alternative architectures.

  • Perform modeling, simulation, and analysis.

  • Assess system survivability, system effectiveness and overall system performance in engagement / mission-level scenarios.

  • Perform trade studies and simulation analysis with the objective of enhancing and optimizing system performance capabilities.

  • Assist with the development of mass balances for complex processes.

  • Document the project approach, assumptions, study findings and recommendations. Recipe for Success: Apply if it sounds like you!

  • Proficiency in MATLAB and a variety of programming languages, software, and systems.

  • Strong computing and scripting skills.

  • Critical thinking and collaboration skills.

  • Experience in working with simulation tools such as ARENA, Pro-Model, Simul-8, Plant-Sim.
