What to expect of the Product Owner position within Huisman?

As a Product Owner at Huisman Digital, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the way we leverage data and digital solutions to predict the lifetime of our equipment and advise our customers on smart maintenance strategies for their assets.

You will be responsible for defining and owning the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for our digital, data-driven solutions. In this role, you will work closely with product developers, data engineers, internal business stakeholders, and customers to identify high-impact opportunities and translate them into innovative solutions.

Over the past year, we have successfully launched several data-driven solutions, including Usage Monitoring Dashboards, Remote Access Tools, Smart Cameras, and more. You will use your expertise to further develop both existing and new solutions, enabling Huisman clients to fully harness the potential of equipment and operational data.

Your vision and drive will ensure that we continue to lead the way in data-driven innovation.

What do we expect of you?

You will be responsible for:

• Maximising product value, aligned with business goals;
• Translate business needs into clear user stories and technical requirements;
• Collaborate with and guide multidisciplinary teams to develop the right products;
• Monitor product performance and continuously iterate based on feedback and analytics;
• Act as the voice of the customer and contribute to a data-driven culture across the organisation.

You have:

• A can-do mentality;
• A bachelor's or master's degree in business, technology or related fields;
• At least 5 years' experience as Product Owner or Product Manager;
• Experience in a complex B2B industry, preferably industrial maintenance ;
• Strong proficiency in project management tools like Asana and Confluence;
• Demonstrated understanding of cutting-edge digital technologies, including AI, IoT, and Digital Twin solutions;
• proactive mindset, strong organisational skills, and the ability to think analytically and strategically.

Some practical things we need you to have:

• An EU passport/valid work permit for The Netherlands;
