Software Test Automation Engineer

At the core of critical operations, our software is the linchpin, ensuring resilience in the face of high-stakes scenarios., As a Software Test Automation Engineer you will work in a multidisciplinary Agile development team. These teams develop and test the infrastructure platform for the combat management systems. The teams are responsible for the entire development chain - requirements analysis, development, integration, testing, validation and demonstrating the current status of the product. The infrastructure we are currently developing will be the basis of our products for the next 30 years., * Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber etc.).

• Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data for both functional and non-functional testing.
• Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects with detailed logs and steps for replication.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines.
• Work with the development team to identify areas for automation and prioritize test cases.
• Perform regression, performance, and load testing for complex Java applications.
• Debug and troubleshoot automation scripts and applications in various environments.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and effectiveness of automated test frameworks and tools.
• Maintain documentation for test automation frameworks, processes, and results.

As a Level 2 Java Software Automation Tester, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and performance of our Java-based applications. You will work closely with your development team and QA to implement testing strategies and ensure that automation solutions align with business needs.

• 5+ years of experience in Java software development and Java-based test automation.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and software development lifecycle.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Certification in test automation or Java development is a plus.
• Over 5 years of Linux experience. Red Hat certification is a plus
