Job description

  • Elicit and prioritize business requirements, translating them into user stories or functional specifications.
  • Produce clear and accurate process flows (UML), data maps, and technical documentation.
  • Support API design, data exchange mechanisms, and integration with third-party systems.
  • Advocate and align solution delivery with IATA aviation frameworks such as ONE Record, ONE Order, and NDC.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), manage defects in Jira, and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule., * Translate business requirements into functional, actionable technical specifications.
  • Produce structured documentation and technical diagrams for smooth solution delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders, managing expectations and aligning with business goals.
  • Coordinate testing efforts, identify defects, and ensure successful resolution before go-live.
  • Advocate for industry best practices and standards, ensuring scalable and compliant solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience: 8-10 years in software development, with strong hands-on expertise in Core Java.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.
  • Experience with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence) and API testing tools (Postman, SOAPUI, etc.).
  • Familiarity with aviation industry processes such as Day of Travel functionalities and airline reservations.
  • Working knowledge of IATA frameworks including ONE Record, ONE Order, and NDC.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills for clear stakeholder interaction.
