Job description
- Contribute to the features of your development team, by designing, building and operating features end to end.
- You talk to business and understand their needs over their asks, trying to optimize value creation for the products that you work on.
- You contribute to your chapter, improving our engineering practices and growing the development teams across the company.
- You don't mind contributing outside the area of expertise, in the end it is more important to get a feature out well than it is to get your part done.
- You help and coach more junior developers by providing feedback and guiding them in their tasks.
Your Team
The team's mission is about creating value for Ad Alliance as the number 1 video Sales House. Mostly focused on automating Sales processes from buying the campaigns, till the moment of invoicing the campaigns, and everything in between.
As a crucial member of this team, you will be collaborating with individuals from various departments and roles, including business analysts, sales, marketing, and operations., As a team we believe that having a strong connection helps to improve the results. We work a few days per week in the office where we seek this connection with each other as team, and our stakeholders. All of those things happen in an environment where we are encouraging, open, critical and respectful to each other.
Requirements
- You have at least 4 years of experience working as a frontend engineer.
- Giving and receiving feedback is something that comes as a second nature, you want to grow yourself and the people around you.
- You are a passionate software engineer with a good understanding of the core frontend web technologies (JavaScript/Typescript, HTML, CSS, React, Next.js).
- You embrace agentic development tools such as Cursor to explore options quickly, automate repetitive toil, and keep quality high.
- Able to write simple and effective code that solves business problems
- You are actively working on developing yourself, eager to learn and open to different idea's.
- You live in the Netherlands and can work together with the team in our Hilversum office at least 2 times a week.
- You are diligent and kind, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- The advertising domain interests you and you are eager to understand everything there is to know about bringing advertisements to our and our partner's products.
