Job description
- Help design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform.
- Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards.
- Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products.
- Be a productive member of the team.
Requirements
- Collaborate within an Agile Scrum team working in two-week sprints, actively participating in stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Design, analyze, and implement application and data architecture solutions.
- Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code while enforcing coding standards and best practices.
- Take collective ownership of the team's codebase in a DevOps model, including participation in 24/7 on-call or standby rotations.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and manage application deployments.
- Build and enhance applications that power business-critical and strategic delivery processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of experience as a software engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin (minimum 2 years; 4+ years preferred).
- Experience with Java and Kotlin (mandatory), Oracle PL/SQL (preferred), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD practices within an Azure Cloud environment.
- Experience with Kafka, Grafana, PostgreSQL, and API development is a strong plus.
- Demonstrates a strong "get-things-done" mindset with a proactive and ownership-driven approach.
- Curious and continuously learning, with a strong appetite for acquiring new skills and technologies.
