Introduction We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join our industry leading client working on National Security programmes. You will need experience with cloud and delivering digital programmes, communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical teams and maintaining comprehensive documentation. Apply Today! Working Patterns and location - This role is based full time on site in London. Key responsibilities Working closely with business analysts, product managers and stakeholders to understand business needs, functional requirements, and non-functional requirements (e.g., performance, security, scalability, reliability). Designing end-to-end technical solutions. Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation - using UML or Archimate. Present proposed solutions to technical and non-technical audiences. Research, evaluate, and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, frameworks, and vendor products. Skills & experience Experience in software development, systems engineering, or technical analysis. Prior experience delivering digital programmes within Public Sector, National Security or Defence. Experience with software development (Agile) and the Full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Knowledge of architectural patterns i.e. Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, N-Tier. Excellent understanding of cloud concepts and platforms (AWS). Excellent documentation skills. Some knowledge of security risk analysis and management experience.
