Job description
We are IT Recruitment Specialists partnered with a massive Global Consultancy who require a Front End Developer for one of their Public sector Clients. This will be a 6- month contract based in London. Role description -
- Digital Front End Software Engineer/Developer - DDCW -Country to country project
- The Business Operations Monitoring Team consists of highly
skilled analysts, technicians and engineers responsible for end to end performance monitoring of services and *
- Use of existing tooling to analyse application traffic and identify root cause of
service issues
- Analysis and on-going development of the performance management and
monitoring tools to provide clear business and efficiency benefits
- Development of detailed topology dashboards showing performance and health
data to aid root cause analysis of poor end to end performance and end-user experience in the support of applications and infrastructure
- Provision of documentation to ensure deliverables are embedded within "business
as usual" processes
- Become involved in the wider web development community, building relationships with other front-end developers and identifying best practices we can adopt
- Sharing knowledge of tools and techniques with technical and non-technical team members in the wider digital team and across government
- Completion of work allocated within agreed time, cost and quality criteria and providing progress reports on assigned work as required
- Prompt escalation of problems, issues and risks as necessary
- Management and control of problems and change within their area of responsibility.
Requirements
- Application Performance Monitoring technologies from Riverbed, AppDynamics,
Dynatrace and others
- Network monitoring technologies from BMC, Entuity, Cisco, Network Instruments,
Ixia and others
- Experienced in the use of industry standard enterprise level network and application performance monitoring and troubleshooting toolsets. Strong
- working knowledge of end-to-end and real-time user experience monitoring toolsets, network traffic analysis and understanding of multitiered
application behaviours.
- Experience in the use of various scripting languages
- Outstanding inter-personal communication skills and the ability to develop
effective networks and relationships across a large enterprise
- Good understanding of ITILv3 and related processes
- SC Cleared or SC Eligible
