About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Power BI Analyst to join the dynamic Projects and Strategic Development Team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving data visualisation, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives, empowering stakeholders to make informed decisions. A strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric will be an advantage as the firm continues to adopt cutting-edge technologies in its data strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Collaborate closely with IT colleagues to ensure data availability, quality, and integration across systems
  • Work with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, translating them into effective data solutions
  • Drive the adoption of new tools and technologies, including Microsoft Fabric
  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior analysts within the team
  • Ensure compliance with data governance policies and security protocols
  • Monitor and optimise the performance of Power BI reports and datasets
  • Support the Head of Data and Business Intelligence in strategic planning and project execution

Qualifications/Experience:

  • At least 5 years of proven experience in a similar role, with expertise in Power BI development and administration
  • Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modelling
  • Experience in data integration from multiple sources, including databases, APIs, and cloud services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering actionable insights
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and its components is a significant advantage.
  • Familiarity with SQL, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment
