Test Analyst

• Analyse and write test scripts using user stories and acceptance criteria/definition of done for requirements.
• Maintain high quality and accuracy of test artifacts for the software release.
• Prepare test scripts for each software component to demonstrate the business condition under test and anticipated results.
• Raise defects with accuracy and supporting evidence.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with schedule and quality requirements.
• Provide feedback to the development team and line managers.
• Provide estimates to the Test Managers for project scheduling where applicable.
• Support scoping and estimation of effort for each user story added to the product backlog.
• Work collaboratively with developers to ensure the testability of new features and timely resolution of defects.

The Senior Test Analyst (RMPT) will be responsible for delivering high-quality testing across complex systems. The role requires strong experience in structured testing methodologies, close collaboration with development teams, and a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and delivery timelines., * Proven track record of testing complex user systems.

• Thorough experience and understanding of structured test methods and processes.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Manual Testing with some exposure to Automated Testing.
• Experience testing Windows software applications and database applications produced using:

• Oracle
• GCP BigQuery
• SQL Server

• Good understanding of:

• Kafka
• FTP / SFTP
• Azure
• GCP
• Java

• Strong dedication to quality with a meticulous approach.
• Experience using collaboration tools such as Jira/Zephyr, Confluence, and Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Agile training, qualifications, or hands-on experience including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
• Experience working in both Waterfall and Agile test and delivery methodologies.
• Good UK geography knowledge., * Test Analyst: 5+ years experience in Technology testing.
• Senior Test Analyst: 10+ years experience in Technology testing.
• Experience within Royal Mail or logistics, or related industries (Utilities / Retail).
