Senior Infrastructure Engineer (AWS)

Introduction Our client is a supplier of critical national infrastructure products and services, and they are looking for an AWS cloud infrastructure engineer. Your role will be to lead on design and implementation of infrastructure services, working with the team and clients to deliver a great service. Working Patterns: Mostly onsite but possibility to work from home a couple of days per week Key responsibilities Lead on the Planning, design, and implementation of IT infrastructure solutions Design, plan and implement cloud-based solutions, particularly focused on AWS. Ensuring that delivery is on time and up to specification. Maintaining current IT infrastructure and monitoring system health. Ensure all documentation is created and updated for ongoing services Able to lead projects, work autonomously and as part of a cross-team function Strong Problem-solving mindset. Skills & experience AWS Cloud Experience with VMware or Hyper-V Scripting tools Ansible/AWX, Python, PowerShell, BASH
